Cal. 22 LR. S# C622617. Bbl. 4" pinned. Ramped serrated blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. 6-shot recessed cyl. Rare 45-2 "Post Office" revolver with only 500 made in the early 1960's. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered walnut diamond center grips with silver S&W medallions & mismatch number right panel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: replacement S&W K-frame box that has been renumbered to match gun with paperwork & cleaning rod. A factory letter is also included that confirms the gun's configuration & states it was shipped to Charles Greenblat Inc. in NYC in January, 1964. CONDITION: grips appear to have added finish with some handling marks, a couple minor chips & some dings. Hammer & trigger retain most of their case colors with some light oxidation & operational wear. Balance of metal retains 95% original blue with some edge wear most notably on cyl. operational wear, handling marks & light oxidation specks on grip straps.
